How to book leisure activities
Most leisure activities run by Serco Leisure – fitness classes, gym, squash courts, sports hall – can be booked by phoning 01795 668061. Information on how to book other activities is available on this website under the description of activities. If you are unsure who to contact, please phone 01795 583547 and we will point you in the right direction.
How to hire a room
Our rooms are available for hire at reasonable rates for meetings, training courses and exhibitions. You can book rooms for one-off events or on a long-term basis. Overhead Projectors, TV/Video, flipcharts and white boards are available. Rooms will be set-up using layouts agreed in advance with you. We have five main rooms available for hire including small meeting rooms and a large multi-purpose space – called the John Rennie Suite – which can accommodate up to 80 people. And if you want to really impress people, why not book the Abbey Room, a board room with a sea view that can accommodate up to 16 people (board room layout) or 30 people (theatre layout). It’s probably the best conference room on Sheppey and is available for £15 an hour. Hire discounts are available for community groups, charities and local companies.
