Swale Community learning is an exciting project which could improve the quality of your life. The activities on offer could help boost your confidence and raise your self-esteem.

We offer a range of courses which start throughout the year; these have included

    • Flower arranging

      • Chair based exercise

        • Tai Bo

          • BIT50 (Basic Information Technology for over 50s)

            • Belly dancing

              • Digital photography and photoshop

                • Light and easy cooking with the Community Chef

                All courses featured on this website are available to persons living in Swale and are subject to a coursefee. There is a limited number of participants percourse so please contactSheppey Matters early to book your place!

                FOR TERMS AND CONDITION OF THE COMMUNITY LEARNING COURSES PLEASE READ INFORMATION BELOW.

                Terms and Conditions

                *Community Learning courses are open to anyone aged 19 or over.
                *A minimum number of people must sign up for a course in order for it to run.
                *Payment for all courses should be made no later than 7 days prior to course start date.
                *The cost of each course is heavily subsidized by the provider. Therefore no concessions will be granted.
                *If your course is cancelled, for any reason, you will receive 7 days notice and a full refund.
                *Should you wish to cancel your place on a course, you should give at least 7 days notice to obtain a refund.
                *If you do not give the required notice or if you do not turn up to your course, no refund will be given.
                *We reserve the right to remove anyone from their course if they are under the influences of alcohol or drugs.
                *We also reserve the right to remove anyone from their course if they demonstrate threatening or abusive behaviour.
